PK04793: ANR0418W WHEN TRYING TO ACCESS THE HEALTH MONITOR

A specific fix for this item is not yet available electronically

This record will be updated with a link to the fix if the APAR is new.

For APARs older than 365 days, contact your support center.

APAR status

Closed as program error.

Error description

The Admin Center has a Health Monitor that can monitor each
TSM Server defined in the Admin Center. An administrator
named ADMIN_CENTER is created on each server at the time
of its installation or upgrade, and it is intended for use by
the Health Monitor.
.
If the password for the admin ID, ADMIN_CENTER, is changed,
the following error is seen in the Server Activity Log:
.
ANR0418W Session xxx for administrator ADMIN_CENTER
(DSMAPI) is refused because an incorrect password was
submitted.
.
Platforms affected: All TSM Servers at 5.3

Local fix

1. Delete the ADMIN_CENTER admin ID from the TSM Server.
2. Remove all TSM Server connections in the ISC.
3. Add the TSM Servers back to the ISC, making sure that the box
is checked to Unlock the Health Monitor. This will get all the
passwords back in sync and the Health Monitor will work.
